If you would like to pursue a Research Fellowship in Plastic Surgery you must have these qualifications:
Postgraduate Trainee
- Foreign terminal degree which required less than 8 years of education beyond high school
- University or self-funded - $32,173 minimum
- Maximum time 2 years
Visiting Senior Fellow Researcher
- MD or Ph.D. holder who does not hold faculty position at home and is receiving or sharing specialized training.
- Salary commensurate with Postdoctoral Fellows (requires proof of organizational support if funding not provided by UT)
- Maximum time 1 year (unless exception approved)
Visiting Junior Fellow / Researcher
- Must be foreign graduate student doing thesis/dissertation research for credit or M.S. degreed technician from collaborative lab
- Must be Graduate Student or M.S. equivalent degree
- Equivalent of UTSW Graduate Student base salary (funding may be personal or organizational support if not provided by UT) or equivalent of UTSW Graduate Student base salary (requires proof of organizational support if funding not provided by UT)
- Maximum time 3 years for Ph.D. Student or 1 year for collaborator
